Is there a free trial?
Yes. When you create an account on ChronWise, you automatically start with a 30-day trial period. We do not require credit card information at this stage. You will only need to pay when you choose to purchase a subscription plan. If you do not purchase a plan during the trial, your account will be archived.
How do I upgrade or change my subscription plan?
You can upgrade or change your subscription plan at any time by visiting the Subscription details’ section in your ‘Account’ menu item. Your subscription will be extended according to the plan you have purchased.
Are there any limits to the number of Trusted Person(s) I can add?
There are no limits to the number of Trusted Persons you can add to your account. We recommend, however, that you grant access judiciously, on a "need to know" basis, typically to close family members, close friends or trusted advisors. You have complete control over who has access to your Information Binder. You can decide whether they see all or only parts of your Information Binder, and whether their access begins immediately or only after your passing.
Can I cancel the renewal of my subscription?
Yes, you can cancel the renewal of your subscription at any time. You can continue to use ChronWise until the end of your current subscription period.
Until when do my Trusted Persons have access to my Information Binder?
Your Trusted Person(s) have access to your Information Binder as long as your subscription is active. Additionally, they will have access for 24 months after they report your passing.
Will my Trusted Person(s) have access to my Information Binder after my passing?
Yes. When a Trusted Person reports the passing of an account holder, we provide 24 months of complimentary access to the Information Binder, provided the account was active at the time of the account holder's passing. If the subscription was inactive, the Trusted Person(s) must reactivate the account by purchasing a subscription.
I am the Trusted Person for an account holder who may have forgotten to renew their subscription. What can I do?
You can remind the account holder to renew their subscription or you can pay to reactivate their account. If the subscription lapses, the Information Binder is archived but can be accessed again once the account is reactivated. If the account is deleted, however, the Information Binder is permanently removed from our database.
I am the Trusted Person for an account holder who passed. I need to extend my access beyond the 24 month complementary extension period.

I am a Trusted Person. The account holder has passed. What shall I do?
We are sorry for your loss. Please contact us at 609-200-6006 for assistance with the next steps. Alternatively, log in to your account, navigate to 'My Roles' from the left menu, select 'Report as deceased' for the deceased account holder, and follow the provided instructions.
What happens if I do not renew my recurring subscription?
If you do not renew your subscription, your account will be archived. The Information Binder is preserved and can be accessed again once the subscription is reactivated.
What happens upon the expiration of my non-recurring subscription?
At the end of a non-recurring subscription period, your account will be archived. It can be reactivated at any time by purchasing a new subscription. Once reactivated, both you and your Trusted Persons can access the Information Binder.
What happens when my account is deleted?
Once an account is deleted, the associated Information Binder is permanently removed from our active database. However, the data may remain in our backup database snapshots for a specific period before being permanently deleted.
